As a Mechanical and Supply Chain Engineer at Bimotal Inc., I focus on the design and development of electric powertrain components for micro-mobility platforms. I lead efforts in optimizing gear designs, performing tolerance stack-up analysis, and improving part performance. I also design various mounting options for the system to increase compatibility across different platforms. I was involved in the complete design, development, and testing of a surgical miniature microscope for cancer detection, in collaboration with UW Medicine. This project challenged my engineering skills as it required designing highly efficient subsystems within a very compact form factor. The microscope played a vital role in improving healthcare by aiding in precise and early cancer detection. Rieter is a leading global supplier of systems for short-staple fiber spinning, providing innovative solutions for yarn production in the textile industry.

I conducted root cause analysis using Ishikawa Diagrams to identify retrofitted parts as the source of drafting roller misalignment. I developed and deployed a custom gauge with 10μm accuracy for measuring misalignment in X, Y, and Z directions, ensuring precise alignment. I also managed and oversaw multiple high-value projects, totaling around $1.5 million, from initial concept through to final delivery. Additionally, I established a standardized calibration procedure that resulted in a 12% improvement in yarn quality, significantly enhancing production efficiency and product consistency.
